Bass Labs is an independent electronic music events platform based in London. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit basslabs.co.uk, follow an external link or buy a ticket through Resident Advisor.

No direct collection

Bass Labs does not currently provide its own:

• customer account or checkout;
• contact form or mailing-list form;
• payment processing; or
• a Bass Labs visitor account or customer profile.

We therefore do not directly ask website visitors for their name, address, email address, telephone number or payment details through basslabs.co.uk.

Website operation

Like most websites, the hosting provider, WordPress, security systems and enabled third-party services may automatically process technical information. This may include an IP address, browser and device type, requested page, date and time, cookie identifiers, interaction data and security log data.

Essential processing is used for site delivery, reliability, fraud prevention and security. The lawful basis for that essential processing is Bass Labs’ legitimate interest in operating a safe and functional website. Non-essential measurement or advertising technologies are described separately below. Retention is determined by the relevant service provider and the purpose for which the information is processed.

Resident Advisor

Event discovery, ticket purchases, waiting lists, approved resale and payment processing are operated by Resident Advisor. When you use a Resident Advisor link or embedded listing, you are interacting with Resident Advisor and its own systems.

Links and embeds

The site may display or link to content from Resident Advisor, Instagram, Linktree and Google. Those services may receive technical information, use cookies or process information according to their own privacy notices when their content loads or when you follow a link.

Bass Labs does not control third-party websites. Review the privacy and cookie information on the relevant service before submitting information to it.

Site Kit and AdSense

Bass Labs uses Google Site Kit and has Google AdSense code installed. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device information and interaction data to deliver and measure services, prevent fraud, limit repeated advertising and, where permitted, personalise advertising.
